I love new and unexpected shapes like the ones that make up this Chihuly piece.

But at home I mostly stick to simple, standard shapes that help serve a function.
I use this large white vessel as a vase or a candle holder (large pillar candle) and group it together with votives (by upintheairsomewhere) of the same shape.
