i know you love me when you

…giggle at my latest self-inflicted injury
…sit quietly while I watch bad TV
…make me amazing french toast
…clean
…patiently explain nuances that i should already know
…send me youtube videos of dumb cats when i’m having a bad day

i love you too. even when you make me watch the yankees, 0-0 at the bottom of 7th.

A few weeks back I posted some pictures that JBA and I took and hoped would print well enough to hang on our walls.

There has been some progress.

We also got some nautical charts of gardiners bay, peconic bay, and little neck bay, which we cropped and had framed.

I’m almost done finalizing what a bathroom renovation would look like. I love the look of teak and other wood grains. The sample here is actually a porcelain tile!

The walls have been blank for so long. The goal now is to snap, frame, and hang some pictures that remind us of a good summer.

Here are the contenders taken in Amagansett, East Hampton, and Sagaponack:

We found pretty peaches, blueberries, corn, heirloom tomatoes, green beans
and beets at ‘The Little Farmstand’ at Spring Close Farms in East Hampton.

I guess a farmer’s patience runs out once the crop is harvested. A sign behind the counter read
“Unattended children will be given espresso and a puppy”.

Close by is the EECO stand (renting garden patches to the community) selling avocados for $4.50 a piece (WHAT?).
